Senior Foreman - Commercial Roofing
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Foreman to lead and oversee commercial roofing projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing, proven leadership skills, and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of roofing crews on-site.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to guide installation and repair work.
- Monitor project progress, quality control, and adherence to timelines.
- Train and mentor junior crew members, promoting skill development and safety awareness.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and suppliers.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure proper use of tools, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and project milestones.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in low-slope and metal roofing systems.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Manufacturer training certifications (preferred).
