MEP Manager - Data Center Construction
Location: Reno, Nevada (Local, Relocation, or Travel Accepted)
Base Salary: $200,000 - $225,000
One of the leading general contractors in the United States, renowned for delivering some of the most complex and advanced data center projects nationwide, is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to join their mission‑critical team in Reno, Nevada.
About the Role:
As the MEP Manager, you will play a key leadership role overseeing the delivery of large‑scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes on hyperscale and enterprise data center projects. You'll join a high‑performing team with an exceptional industry reputation, where you'll drive quality, safety, schedule performance, and overall project excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all MEP construction activities across multi‑million‑dollar data center builds
- Coordinate closely with GC leadership, subcontractors, engineering teams, and the client
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, schedules, commissioning, QA/QC, and change management
- Ensure alignment between design intent, installation, and commissioning
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, stakeholders, and field teams
- Champion safety, quality, and high‑performing culture on site
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of dedicated data center construction experience
- 10+ additional years in MEP construction, preferably on projects $250M+
- Proven track record delivering large, complex mission‑critical or hyperscale projects
- Strong expertise across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Experience managing trade partners, budgets, schedules, and cross‑functional coordination
- Ability to relocate to Reno, be local, or travel on rotation as needed
