Senior Project Engineer
Overview:
Our client is a well‑established national civil engineering firm with an active presence in Southern California. They are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for their Riverside office who is interested in blending elements of technical design, development review, capital planning, and public agency collaboration. The engineer that steps into this position is given a level of project ownership and scope that most mid-level engineering roles will not offer. This role will support a steady pipeline of CIP, public infrastructure, and land development projects.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in land or site development design and has experience working at a public agency. This position offers meaningful growth potential, with a clear path toward senior leadership as the Riverside office and broader practice continue to expand.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $110,000-$130,000 base salary, depending on experience and licensure

Key Qualifications:
- 4-8 years of civil engineering experience, with experience working at public agencies and a deep understanding of how they work
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and public agency stakeholders
- Ability to serve as a primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders
- EIT Required, PE Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
