Role Overview
This is a senior-level engineering leadership role responsible for managing multiple project teams and ensuring the successful delivery of structural projects through all phases from concept design to construction administration.
The position combines technical oversight, team leadership, and client engagement, making it a key role in driving both project success and long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead structural design and analysis across multiple projects
- Oversee development and delivery of implementation documents
- Ensure technical quality, code compliance, and constructability
- Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to sustainable and innovative design solutions
Project & Team Management
- Manage multiple project teams and project delivery timelines
- Delegate and oversee engineering tasks across teams
- Lead coordination between internal and external stakeholders
- Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement processes
- Support post-occupancy evaluation and lessons learned
Client & Business Engagement
- Act as key point of contact for clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Communicate project progress and resolve technical challenges
- Support collaboration across design and construction teams
Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (or related field)
- Professional Engineering (PE or SE) licence required
- Sustainable design accreditation preferred
Experience
- 6+ years of engineering experience
- Strong experience across all phases of design and construction
- Proven experience managing teams and delivering complex projects
Core Skills
- Advanced knowledge of structural systems, codes, and QA/QC processes
- Experience with Revit/BIM and project management tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
- Base Salary range: $115,000 - $150,000
- Bonus: 10% of Base Salary
- Travel Stipend up to $3,000
- Final compensation dependent on experience, location, and expertise
