Senior project Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to lead land development projects in the Tucson area. This role involves overseeing the planning, design, and execution of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and client relations, with a deep understanding of local regulations and development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage land development projects from concept through construction.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and public agencies.
- Oversee preparation of improvement plans, grading, drainage, and utility designs.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and project engineers.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare and present project proposals and reports to stakeholders and governing bodies.
- Facilitate permitting and entitlement processes with local jurisdictions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in land development project management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale development projects.
- Strong knowledge of Tucson-area zoning, permitting, and land use regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Project, Procore).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
