Title Position: Senior/Manager, Projects

Location: Singapore

Role Overview

This position partners closely with Asset Managers to lead and manage all aspects of development projects. The role covers both new developments and enhancement of existing assets across multiple sectors, including commercial, retail, residential, industrial, and logistics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and external consultants throughout all project phases, including feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and handover.
  • Oversee regulatory processes by handling authority submissions, ensuring compliance with local requirements, and aligning with internal approval and procurement frameworks.
  • Drive the design development process from concept to execution, optimising efficiency in net lettable or saleable areas while aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as headquarters, Asset Management, and business units to define project scope, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve cost competitiveness, including consultant and contractor selection, contract negotiations, and managing variation orders.
  • Track and monitor construction progress, including site activities, costs, safety, and quality, ensuring project milestones are achieved.
  • Oversee project financials by managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation while maintaining value.
  • Support organisational priorities in sustainability, compliance, buildability, and governance by integrating these principles into project execution.
  • Provide leadership in strategic planning, stakeholder management, and team development, maintaining a high standard of integrity and professional conduct.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience covering full project lifecycle delivery, including design, project management, administration, and on-site execution.
  • Experience in integrated development projects will be highly advantageous.
  • Strong commercial awareness and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in diverse environments.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, resilience, and cultural awareness in managing stakeholders and evolving project conditions.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, including challenging conventional approaches and applying value engineering principles.
  • Strong organisational and planning capabilities, with attention to detail.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage conflicts, delays, and unforeseen challenges effectively.
  • In-depth understanding of construction practices, contracts, regulatory frameworks, and a well-established industry network.
