Civil Project Engineer - Hybrid | Puget Sound Region
Salary: $85,000-$150,000
A long-standing and well-regarded civil engineering, land surveying, and planning firm in the Puget Sound area is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join its growing team. With over six decades of service to residential, commercial, and municipal clients, this firm offers a collaborative and forward-thinking environment where innovation and professional development are highly valued.
This is a full-time, hybrid role (40 hours/week), offering flexibility and the opportunity to work alongside some of the most experienced professionals in the region.
What You'll Do:
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians in core engineering principles, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, road and site design, and ADA compliance.
- Lead the preparation of engineering plans and technical reports for a variety of project types.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure smooth coordination and delivery.
- Provide design guidance and hands-on support using Civil 3D.
- Develop accurate cost estimates and project schedules.
- Perform or oversee hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and drainage documentation.
What You Bring:
- 4+ years of civil engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington State.
- Strong command of civil engineering fundamentals and design practices.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with local jurisdictional requirements.
- Valid U.S. work authorization and driver's license.
