The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE level) to lead the design and delivery of complex building electrical systems across a diverse project portfolio. This is a hands‑on technical role for an experienced engineer who enjoys owning designs from concept through construction and mentoring junior staff along the way.
You'll collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and field teams to ensure high‑quality, code‑compliant, and constructible solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical system design from concept through construction documents
Perform technical analyses and apply sound engineering judgment to solve complex problems
Develop power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and low‑voltage system designs
Independently manage projects with minimal supervision from start to finish
Review and apply local, state, and federal codes and standards
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and field personnel
Mentor and support junior engineers within the electrical discipline
Maintain design quality, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program
Minimum 5+ years of electrical design experience
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of employment
Strong knowledge of:
Power distribution systems
Lighting and lighting controls
Grounding and bonding
Fire alarm systems
Low‑voltage systems (data, telecom, nurse call, paging, etc.)
Proficiency with:
AutoCAD
Revit
Power analysis software (e.g., SKM or similar)
Lighting calculation software (e.g., Visual or equivalent)
Ability to manage multiple deadline‑driven projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred (Not Required):
Healthcare or Federal project experience
