Position Overview
We are seeking a Structural Department Lead to guide and grow the structural engineering team. This is a strategic leadership role for a seasoned engineer who excels in technical delivery, team mentorship, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structural engineering department, managing personnel, workload, and technical standards.
- Oversee structural design and analysis for industrial and commercial facilities.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Engage with clients, project managers, and construction teams to ensure alignment and quality.
- Support proposal development and contribute to business growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety protocols.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of industrial structural systems and construction practices.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $150,000 - $185,000
