This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-impact projects; from large-scale commercial developments and mixed-use structures to seismic retrofits and public infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and analysis for a variety of building types and infrastructure projects.
- Oversee the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with architects, developers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and provide construction-phase support.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Ensure compliance with California building codes, seismic standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Active PE license in California (SE license preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in structural design and project leadership.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, or similar.
- Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
