Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience in structural design and analysis, and the ability to manage projects from concept through construction. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design for wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
  • Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections during construction phases.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Stay current with building codes, standards, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
  • 4-8 years of structural engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, SAP2000, ETABS) and AutoCAD/Revit.
  • Strong understanding of local and national building codes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
