Project Manager - Structural (Confidential Firm)

Level: Mid-Senior (8-12 years experience)

A nationally recognized engineering firm is seeking a Project Manager to join its dynamic Structural Engineering group in its Downtown Dallas office. This role is ideal for a licensed structural engineer with a strong background in managing large-scale commercial building projects and a passion for technical excellence and client service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead structural design efforts for major commercial projects including office buildings, healthcare facilities, sports venues, and other structures with construction costs of $25M and above
  • Manage project teams and coordinate with architects, developers, institutions, and contractors
  • Oversee project delivery from concept through construction, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule targets are met
  • Maintain strong client relationships and uphold a high standard of customer service
  • Contribute to business development and proposal efforts as needed

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of experience in structural engineering for commercial buildings
  • Proven project management experience with increasing responsibility
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural
  • PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Proactive, client-focused mindset with a collaborative approach
