Substation Project Manager
My client, a well-established and growing electrical construction company, is seeking a dedicated and driven Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a few years of experience who's ready to take the next step in their project management career.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Define project goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders
- Forecast and coordinate resources to ensure project success
- Develop and manage project budgets and track costs to stay on target
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans
- Provide regular updates to clients, team members, and leadership on progress and strategy
- Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, ensuring timely and quality deliverables
- Apply industry best practices and standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for improvement
What We're Looking For:
- 2-5 years of experience in project management, ideally in electrical or construction environments
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or equivalent field experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- PMP certification is a plus, but not required
