Overview:
The Survey Director will lead and manage all surveying operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage surveying teams across multiple projects.
- Develop and implement surveying standards and procedures.
- Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet project goals.
- Mentor and train staff, fostering professional growth.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for surveying operations.
Qualifications:
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required. (Georgia & South Carolina preffered)
- 10+ years of experience in land surveying, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of surveying technology and software (GPS, GIS, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Prepare proposals, budgets, and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
- Supervise field crews and office staff, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred; LSIT or ability to obtain PLS considered(Georgia & South Carolina)
- 5+ years of experience in land surveying, with project management experience.
- Proficiency in surveying software and technology.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
