[THA] Electrical Senior Project Manager - Data Center
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle delivery of a large‑scale 230kV high‑voltage infrastructure development supporting a next‑generation critical‑facility project in Eastern Thailand. This role requires strong technical leadership across engineering coordination, civil and electrical execution, protection and control systems, major equipment integration, testing, energization, and final handover. The position will oversee contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary site teams while ensuring compliance with national utility standards, safety regulations, permitting processes, and project governance requirements. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in managing complex grid‑connected infrastructure, comfortable engaging with regulatory and authority bodies, and equipped to operate full‑time on site to drive safe, timely, and high‑quality project completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of a 230kV high‑voltage infrastructure project, covering engineering coordination, civil and electrical works, equipment installation, system integration, testing, energization, and handover.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, risk controls, procurement timelines, reporting, and overall execution plans.
- Review and approve technical deliverables including protection philosophies, layouts, drawings, construction packages, and installation methods.
- Ensure strict compliance with national utility standards, safety regulations, permitting requirements, and environmental obligations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and on‑site personnel to maintain alignment across all scopes.
- Oversee procurement and delivery of major high‑voltage equipment such as switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and control components.
- Manage technical clarifications, change requests, documentation workflows, and risk assessments throughout project execution.
- Interface with regulatory bodies, local authorities, and community stakeholders to ensure smooth approvals, site access, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience delivering major high‑voltage infrastructure projects, with proven capability in 230kV system execution.
- Strong fluency in national high‑voltage standards, utility engagement processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage full lifecycle delivery - from design to commissioning-on complex large‑scale power projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including utilities, government agencies, contractors, and community stakeholders.
- Fluency in Thai and English, written and spoken.
- Ability to be based full‑time on site during construction and commissioning.
- On‑ground work experience in Rayong or Chonburi infrastructure projects.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, ACP, or equivalent project management credentials.
