Mid-Level Traffic Engineer/Transportation Planner
Tysons Corner, VA
Duties:
- Perform advanced engineering/planning tasks
- Prepare technical reports
- Manage projects
- Coordinate with associate engineers/planners and technicians
- Train and mentor junior staff
- Present findings to public agencies and community groups
- Participate in internal committees
- Other duties as directed
Required Skills:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or Transportation Planning
- P.E. or AICP certification
- 5-7 years of experience in traffic engineering/transportation planning
- Proficiency with traffic analysis software (HCS, Synchro, VISSIM)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking
- Driver's license and personal transportation
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
