Transportation Lead
I'm working with a client-a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering firm-who is looking for a Senior Transportation Engineer to join their growing Colorado team. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to lead complex transportation projects, mentor junior staff, and shape the future of infrastructure across the state.

With a strong presence in the Rocky Mountain region, they work on a wide range of public and private sector projects, including roadway design, multimodal corridors, traffic operations, and infrastructure planning.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and delivery of transportation projects from concept through construction
- Oversee roadway, intersection, and corridor design using Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communications
- Coordinate with DOTs, municipalities, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide technical mentorship and quality oversight for junior engineers
- Support proposal development and client relationship management
What They're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Colorado PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- 8+ years of experience in transportation engineering
- Strong technical background in roadway design, traffic analysis, and plan production
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroStation, and traffic modeling tools (e.g., Synchro, VISSIM)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
