About the Role
We're seeking a hands‑on, highly skilled Field Superintendent to join a leading geotechnical construction contractor delivering deep foundations, earth retention, and ground‑improvement solutions nationwide. This role is fully travel‑based and ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work on some of the most technically demanding projects in the industry.
What You'll Do
- Lead day‑to‑day field operations on deep foundation and earth retention projects
- Manage and mentor crews to ensure safe, efficient, high‑quality production
- Coordinate equipment, materials, subcontractors, and schedule to keep projects on track
- Read and interpret plans, specs, and geotechnical reports
- Oversee site safety and ensure full compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Troubleshoot field challenges and collaborate closely with project management and engineering teams
- Travel nationwide to support projects wherever needed
What You Bring
- Experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in geotechnical, heavy civil, or specialty foundation construction
- Strong working knowledge of systems such as:
- Drilled shafts
- Micropiles
- Soil nails and shotcrete
- Ground anchors
- Secant/tangent piles
- Shoring and earth retention systems
- Ability to lead teams, communicate clearly, and make smart decisions on the fly
- Commitment to safety above all
- Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S.
