VDC Engineer

Location: Raleigh or Charlotte, NC

The company is looking for a VDC Engineer to join the team in Charlotte or Raleigh. This role will drive BIM coordination and collaboration with project teams to drive multi-million-dollar construction projects across the Carolinas.

Key responsibilities of the VDC Engineer include:

  • Participate in MEP coordination efforts alongside project and trade partners.
  • Assist with 3D model development and maintenance to support construction planning and coordination.
  • Support and facilitate multi-trade coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and Revit.
  • Support BIM execution planning, model coordination, and data management in accordance with company VDC standards and workflows.

Key requirements of the VDC Engineer include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong VDC/ BIM modelling and coordination experience, ideally within the construction industry.
  • A solid understanding of Navisworks and Revit, alongside a working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
