My client, an employee-owned (ESOP) civil and environmental engineering firm, is seeking a Practice Builder (Seller/Doer) to lead and expand their Stormwater Management and Coastal Engineering practice. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with business development leadership while working on projects that protect communities and ecosystems.

What You'll Do

  • Lead & Grow: Drive strategic growth of stormwater and coastal engineering services across Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic.
  • Seller/Doer Role: Build client relationships, secure projects, and deliver exceptional solutions.
  • Innovate: Design and implement sustainable solutions for wetlands, streams, and living shorelines.
  • Collaborate: Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that protect ecosystems and communities.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 10+ years in civil/environmental engineering with a focus on stormwater management and coastal engineering.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven track record in wetlands restoration, stream design, and living shoreline projects.
  • Leadership: Strong business development skills and ability to mentor junior staff.
  • Credentials: PE license required; advanced degrees or certifications in water resources or coastal engineering preferred.
