About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer with strong technical skills in ICPR and a passion for solving complex stormwater challenges. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and wants to contribute to projects that matter - ranging from municipal infrastructure improvements to advanced resiliency planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support stormwater management projects for municipal and private clients.
- Develop and refine hydrologic and hydraulic models using ICPR and StormWise.
- Prepare drainage studies, stormwater master plans, and design documents.
- Address resiliency, low-impact development (LID), and climate change considerations in design.
- Coordinate permitting with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Collaborate with municipalities across the Greater Tampa Bay area to deliver tailored solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering (Water Resources emphasis preferred).
- License: Active Florida P.E. License.
- Experience: 7+ years in water resources or civil engineering design.
- Expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater modeling (ICPR/StormWise required).
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS (preferred).
- Prior experience working with municipalities in Tampa Bay is a plus.
