Company Summary:

A leading U.S.-based manufacturer of water heating and treatment solutions is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive sales of water and wastewater treatment equipment for a large region of the USA. The company serves industrial sectors such as food processing, beverage, mining, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key accounts in region
  • Coordinate internal resources to meet customer requirements and ensure successful onboarding.
  • Meet sales targets for volume and strategic objectives within assigned regions.
  • Participate in territory planning to set performance goals and financial targets.
  • Accurately forecast and report sales activities and pipeline development.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Support pipeline growth through:
  • Lead nurturing and customer engagement
  • Direct outreach via phone, email, campaigns, and events
  • Leading solution development with internal teams
  • Manage regional distributors specializing in wastewater, boiler, and RO systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of direct sales experience in water treatment, wastewater, or related industries.
  • Experience in capital equipment or pump sales preferred.
  • Background in food processing, beverage, or industrial applications is a plus.
  • Distributor management experience is ideal.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage the sales process from planning to close.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools.
