They're currently seeking a Senior Bridge Design Engineer to lead and contribute to impactful local infrastructure projects across Upstate New York-projects that improve daily travel, enhance safety, and support long-term mobility for the region's communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead bridge design projects from concept through completion, ensuring technical quality and innovation.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of existing structures, preparing clear and actionable reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Review design calculations, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure project alignment with standards and expectations.
Qualifications
- PE license in New York is a strong plus.
- 5-10 years of experience in bridge engineering with a solid record of successful project delivery.
- Strong understanding of AASHTO and other relevant design standards.
- Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
