Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Management
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects of varying complexity
- Manage project scope, schedules, and financial performance to ensure successful outcomes
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives and deadlines
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff
Technical Delivery
- Prepare and review engineering designs, plans, specifications, and reports
- Develop cost estimates, supporting calculations, and construction documentation
- Ensure designs comply with applicable regulatory requirements and standards
- Support construction-phase services, including oversight and coordination
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and project partners
- Participate in meetings and provide technical insight to support project success
- Assist with business development efforts, including proposal preparation and pursuit support
Project Experience May Include
- Municipal infrastructure systems (water, wastewater, and stormwater)
- Transportation-related projects such as roadway design
- Land development and site design for residential or commercial use
- Treatment facilities and utility systems
- Public or institutional facilities
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline required
- Approximately 5-10+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering design and project delivery
- Professional engineering licensure required or ability to obtain
Skills & Capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage teams effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
- Experience working with clients and supporting business development initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
