Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Consultant - Bioprocess & Plant Design to lead the design and optimization of a biomass processing facility. This role will oversee the entire production flow-from raw biomass extraction to bottling-while ensuring compliance with Indonesian standards (SNI) and managing certification processes. The consultant will provide technical expertise in bioreactors, extraction techniques, and plant design, with initial travel to Lombok for on-site setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement processing flow for biomass conversion to finished product.
- Apply various extraction techniques for biofertilizer and biostimulant production.
- Oversee production flow and quality control from biomass to bottling.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian regulatory standards (SNI) and manage certification process.
- Provide technical guidance on bioreactor operations and plant design improvements.
- Collaborate with local teams and conduct initial on-site setup in Lombok (approx. one week at a time).
Requirements
- STEM degree (Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or related field).
- 7-10 years of experience in bioprocessing, plant design, or biomass production.
- Proven experience or strong knowledge of biofertilizers and biostimulants manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with Indonesian standards and SNI certification process.
- Expertise in bioreactors, extraction systems, and sustainable production technologies.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup and manage remote coordination effectively.
