The team supports everything from early-stage engineering and conceptual design to project administration and utility analysis.
Role Overview
We're seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and connect the technical components of our solar projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys bridging engineering insights with project execution. You'll oversee conceptual design, support RFP development, and ensure technical findings are accurately translated into project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate engineering activities
- Manage early-stage conceptual design and utility bill analysis
- Support RFP development and ensure technical inputs are reflected in proposals
- Oversee project documentation and administrative workflows
- Act as a technical liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ensure quality and consistency across engineering deliverables
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in commercial solar engineering or project management
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles (EE background preferred)
- Experience with commercial solar systems and utility analysis
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and remote collaboration
- PE license not required
- Familiarity with CT, MA, RI markets is a plus
