Industry Manager (Power System Sales Engineer)
Location: Remote near Sandy Lake, PA Or Mentor, OH
Function:
Manage AC/DC Power Systems solutions for established customers, from proposal through project startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with customers and engineering firms within an assigned industry segment
- Partner with senior leadership to define products and applications that drive new business
- Develop strong application and industry expertise
- Forecast sales and present system solutions to customers
- Negotiate proposals and convert opportunities into purchase or change orders
- Lead internal and customer kickoff meetings and serve as the primary customer contact through execution
- Coordinate with U.S. and international manufacturing teams to track schedules, status, and deliveries
- Participate in design reviews, support troubleshooting, and identify service needs
- Drive repeat business through post-project follow-up
- Travel up to 40%, domestic and international
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics Technology); MBA or PMP preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in sales or project management of industrial power equipment
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and consultative selling skills
- Ability to work in manufacturing environments and travel globally without restriction
