Power Generation Engineer
We are seeking a Generation Engineer to join our team in Wisconsin This role involves plant engineering, project management, and supporting the operation, maintenance, and capital improvements of power generation facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engineering studies to optimize the operation and maintenance of generation assets and prepare detailed reports.
- Provide technical support for operations analysis and troubleshooting maintenance issues.
- Recommend, plan, and manage engineering projects at company-operated generation plants.
- Deliver engineering expertise for equipment such as generators, transformers, breakers, relays, motors, VFDs, inverters, batteries, sensors, and control systems.
- Assist in developing annual capital and O&M budgets for generation facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or a related field-or equivalent experience.
- Strong collaboration skills; able to work effectively in a team environment and support colleagues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly organized with strong coordination and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal and presentation skills.
