A global provider of infrastructure and engineering solutions is seeking a Presales Structural Engineer to support the development of modular structural systems for data centers, industrial facilities, and other mission-critical environments. This role focuses on delivering practical, efficient, and scalable structural designs that support evolving technology-driven infrastructure needs.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team, contributing to the design and coordination of modular building solutions used in large-scale, technically complex projects. The position offers long-term exposure to modern engineering methods and the opportunity to support innovative infrastructure deployments across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
Structural Design Support
- Assist in the structural design of low- to medium-complexity modular steel structures
- Develop 3D models and perform static and dynamic structural calculations
- Produce technical documentation including shop drawings, lifting and anchoring layouts, and design specifications
Codes and Engineering Standards
- Apply applicable international, national, and internal design codes
- Ensure designs meet safety, compliance, and cost-efficiency requirements
- Incorporate established engineering best practices throughout all project phases
Cross-Disciplinary Coordination
- Participate in project kick-off and coordination meetings
- Collaborate with architectural, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and site teams to support coordinated project delivery
Technical Review
- Assist with the review and technical approval of subcontractor shop drawings and vendor documentation
- Define material requirements, services, and required certifications
Manufacturing and Site Support
- Provide technical support during fabrication and assembly
- Work with site management, manufacturing, quality, and commissioning teams to resolve structural issues and support safe implementation
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis
- Experience: 3+ years of structural engineering experience
- Technical Background: Strong theoretical knowledge paired with hands-on design experience
- Software Skills: Experience with tools such as Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD, structural analysis software, connection design tools, and Microsoft Office
- Language: Proficiency in English
