A well‑established engineering and consulting firm is seeking an experienced Stormwater Program Manager to lead and support stormwater, drainage, and water resources projects throughout the Los Angeles region. This role is suited for a technically grounded professional who combines strong project management capabilities with hands‑on engineering expertise and enjoys working in a collaborative, in‑office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stormwater and drainage projects from planning and design through execution
- Oversee project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical delivery
- Lead hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, drainage studies, and stormwater infrastructure assessments
- Support stormwater compliance programs and coordinate with regulatory agencies as required
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal project teams
- Provide technical oversight and mentor junior engineers and staff
- Contribute to proposal development, cost estimates, staffing plans, and project pursuits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of California
- 10 or more years of experience in stormwater, drainage, or water resources engineering
- Proficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools such as HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, and EPA SWMM
- Demonstrated experience managing projects, budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with Southern California stormwater regulations and agency coordination
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in an in‑office or hybrid setting
