A fast‑growing data center developer is seeking a Preconstruction Manager / Project Manager to play a critical role in the delivery of large‑scale hyperscale data center campuses across the U.S.
The company is a lean, entrepreneurial organization of 20+ professionals that has doubled in size over the past two years, rapidly built a strong market reputation, and earned recognition as a Top 100 developer within five years of launch. With a ~500MW hyperscale campus entering construction and a second major campus in development, the business is now building out its core delivery team.

The Role
This position will serve as a key link between preconstruction and construction execution, working closely with senior leadership, consultants, and contractors to drive projects from early design through completion.
The successful candidate will bring a hands‑on mindset, take full ownership of project outcomes, and help establish scalable delivery processes within a rapidly evolving developer platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preconstruction efforts including design coordination, cost planning, value engineering, procurement strategy, and risk management
- Manage hyperscale data center projects through construction, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are met
- Act as the primary interface between internal stakeholders, design teams, general contractors, and trade partners
- Drive MEP‑focused coordination in mission‑critical, high‑availability environments
- Support contractor selection, contract administration, change management, and commercial reporting
- Provide clear, accurate updates on project status, cost, schedule, and risk to executive leadership
- Help develop and refine project delivery standards, controls, and best practices as the organization scales
- Operate as a trusted leader within a small, high‑performing project delivery team
