The Quality Control Lead will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the implementation of the Quality Control Plan across all phases of the project lifecycle
- Coordinating inspections, testing, and reporting with project teams, commissioning leads, and shop managers
- Managing documentation for inspections, drawings, and compliance requirements using platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Ensuring materials and construction meet building codes and project specifications
- Identifying and resolving deficiencies, tracking corrective actions, and supporting final inspections and owner punch lists
The Quality Control Lead should have the following:
- Strong understanding and experience in Lean construction or manufacturing
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam; experience with ACC preferred
- Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) strongly preferred; experience with electrical quality control is a plus
- Previous experience in progressive quality control roles; people management experience preferred
