You'll play a pivotal role in winning bids, securing projects, and overseeing the engineering process from concept through completion. The position is also remote, with occasional travel between Houston and Baton Rouge for client meetings or projects.
What You'll Do
- Lead Business Development: Promote and sell their proprietary ground improvement technology to engineering firms, DOTs, and construction companies.
- Technical Oversight: Review geotechnical and structural data, evaluate project feasibility, and develop cost-effective solutions using our patented systems.
- Project Management: Oversee engineering deliverables, sign and seal design submittals, and ensure successful project execution through close-out.
- Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and manage regional opportunities to meet revenue goals.
- Proposal Development: Prepare bids and proposals, working closely with estimators and design teams to secure projects.
What You'll Need
- Minimum 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven ability to evaluate technical and commercial viability of projects
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics and structural loading conditions
- Excellent client-facing skills with a consultative approach
- Ability to create and manage business opportunities leading to successful engineering and sales strategies
Education
- BS in Civil Engineering required
- MS in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
