The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a Senior Engineer or Project Manager looking to step into a position with broader responsibility across both delivery and client engagement.
You will play a key role in leading projects, managing client relationships, and supporting office growth within an established but expanding market.
The role combines:
- Project leadership
- Technical design oversight
- Permitting and regulatory coordination
- Client development and relationship management
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and permitting of land development projects across residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and mixed-use sectors
- Manage projects through the full lifecycle from concept through completion
- Oversee technical aspects including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure design
- Deliver stormwater management design, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation
- Work closely with office leadership to support growth plans and maintain strong utilisation across the team
- Develop and maintain client relationships, while contributing to new business development efforts
- Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including environmental and geotechnical groups
- Support proposal development and technical reporting
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to overall team development
Technical Scope
- Full site/civil design delivery
- Grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure
- Stormwater management and modelling
- Permitting and entitlement processes
- Integration with environmental and geotechnical engineering
What They're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of relevant site/civil engineering experience, with a focus on land development
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Strong experience across a range of project types and scales
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships
- Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D
- Ability to contribute to business development and support office growth
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organisational capabilities
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to travel locally for client meetings and site visits
