We are partnered with a nationally recognised engineering and environmental consultancy to appoint a Senior Civil Project Manager into their Cleveland team.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a Senior Engineer or Project Manager looking to step into a position with broader responsibility across both delivery and client engagement.

You will play a key role in leading projects, managing client relationships, and supporting office growth within an established but expanding market.

The role combines:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and permitting of land development projects across residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and mixed-use sectors
  • Manage projects through the full lifecycle from concept through completion
  • Oversee technical aspects including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure design
  • Deliver stormwater management design, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation
  • Work closely with office leadership to support growth plans and maintain strong utilisation across the team
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, while contributing to new business development efforts
  • Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including environmental and geotechnical groups
  • Support proposal development and technical reporting
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to overall team development

Technical Scope

  • Full site/civil design delivery
  • Grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure
  • Stormwater management and modelling
  • Permitting and entitlement processes
  • Integration with environmental and geotechnical engineering

What They're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant site/civil engineering experience, with a focus on land development
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Strong experience across a range of project types and scales
  • Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D
  • Ability to contribute to business development and support office growth
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organisational capabilities
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to travel locally for client meetings and site visits
