The Opportunity

A growing engineering and technology consulting firm is seeking a Technology Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of low voltage and intelligent building systems projects. This is an opportunity to work on high-profile commercial and institutional projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.

Role Overview

As a Technology Project Manager, you will oversee projects from concept through construction, serving as both a technical leader and project manager. You will work directly with clients, coordinate with internal and external project teams, and ensure successful project execution through all phases of design and construction. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex technology infrastructure projects while contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage technology and low voltage projects from planning and design through construction completion
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project teams
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and construction teams to ensure seamless project integration
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project team members
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project reviews
  • Support construction administration efforts, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and field coordination
  • Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 9+ years of experience in technology consulting, engineering consulting, or the A/E industry
  • Strong technical background in telecommunications and low voltage systems
  • Experience managing projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Understanding of construction costs, budgeting, and life-cycle considerations
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Experience representing the technology discipline during project meetings and coordination efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • RCDD, CTS-D, PSP, PMP, CPTED, or similar industry certification
  • Certification in progress considered
  • Experience with commercial, healthcare, higher education, government, or other large-scale facilities
  • Proven leadership experience within consulting or design environments
