About the Role
We're seeking a passionate engineer who thrives on solving complex problems in the built environment. Our Building Technology division applies engineering principles, physics, and materials science to building envelopes-ensuring they are durable, energy-efficient, and resistant to water infiltration. As a Project Consultant, you'll work under the guidance of licensed engineers to support new design, evaluation, investigation, and repair of existing buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and evaluation of building envelopes for new and existing structures
- Conduct field investigations, including climbing ladders and scaffolds, and working at heights
- Travel to multiple job sites across the region
- Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to clients and team members
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve engineering challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- 2-5 years of professional experience; EIT preferred
- Strong interest in building construction and problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report
- Ability to work at heights and on scaffolding

- Experience in building construction or related fields
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit
- Hands-on mechanical repair or industrial rope access (e.g., rock climbing)
- Demonstrated enthusiasm, accountability, and teamwork
