My client is seeking a creative and driven K-12 Project Architect to join their Los Angeles studio, where you'll play a key role in shaping educational environments that support student success. This is a mission-driven opportunity to contribute to impactful educational projects and collaborate with a passionate, multidisciplinary team.

The selected candidate will lead design development, mentor junior staff, and ensure technical excellence across all phases of project delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting, brings strong Revit expertise, and is committed to making a difference through design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project goals and develop programmatic direction
  • Lead a team of architects, designers, and planners to deliver creative and technically sound solutions
  • Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of growth and collaboration
  • Ensure feasibility, constructability, and compliance with life safety and code requirements
  • Guide projects through schematic design, design development, and construction documentation
  • Create and modify specifications in coordination with a specification writer
  • Maintain project schedules and communicate progress and concerns with the project team
  • Coordinate with consultants using BIM, 2D documentation, and specifications

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Licensed Architect with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture
  • 7-10 years of experience, ideally with a focus on K-12 or institutional projects
  • Proficient in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, BIM 360, Bluebeam Revu, and Office 365
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
  • Passionate about educational design and creating environments that support learning
