What They're Looking For:
The ideal candidate is a motivated and detail-oriented civil engineer with a strong background in land development, site design, and permitting processes. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage land development projects from concept through construction
- Prepare site plans, grading, stormwater management, and utility layouts
- Coordinate with local jurisdictions for permitting and approvals
- Collaborate with surveyors, architects, and environmental consultants
- Support project managers with technical documentation and client communication
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3-7 years of experience in land development engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software
- Strong knowledge of Maryland zoning, permitting, and stormwater regulations
- EIT or PE license preferred (or in progress)
