  • Review and approve Contractor Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and related documentation, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated early
  • Participate in QA/QC coordination meetings with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Conduct periodic and milestone-based site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and proper installation of systems, including:
    • Medium- and high-voltage electrical collection systems
    • Substations, transformers, and switchgear
    • Inverters, trackers, PV modules, and SCADA systems
    • Battery energy storage systems (containers, PCS, EMS, safety systems)
    • Civil works such as earthworks, grading, drainage, foundations, and structural elements
  • Review testing reports, such as compaction testing, concrete results, and material submittals
  • Maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, test records, and as-built drawings
  • Track quality deficiencies, issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), and coordinate corrective actions
  • Provide regular reporting on quality performance and issue resolution to internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy projects, particularly solar PV and/or BESS
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems and inspection processes for relevant equipment and systems
  • Experience developing and managing ITPs, inspection regimes, and QA/QC documentation
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus depending on project location
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, OSHA, or similar standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work on remote job sites and adapt to varying site conditions
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
