Transportation Engineer III - Florida-Based Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage engineering plans and specifications in alignment with FDOT standards

  • Lead federally funded transportation projects across a diverse client base

  • Oversee multidisciplinary studies and designs including roadway, drainage, traffic, underground utilities, and general infrastructure improvements

  • Provide civil engineering services tailored to public sector clients at the local and state levels

  • Contribute to client engagement and business development efforts (preferred but not mandatory)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering, particularly with municipal or highway agency projects

  • Ability to travel within the firm's Florida service area using personal transportation

  • Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently

  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on team success and professional growth

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D

Compensation

  • Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience, certifications, and skill set
