Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all regional operations, ensuring the successful execution of multiple concurrent utility infrastructure projects.
- Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, electric cooperatives, consulting engineers, and key industry stakeholders throughout Florida.
- Drive regional growth through strategic business development, customer engagement, and pursuit of new project opportunities.
- Provide executive oversight of substation construction projects, transmission and distribution initiatives, system upgrades, and other power delivery infrastructure programs.
- Maintain full responsibility for regional financial performance, including revenue growth, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability.
- Collaborate with customers to identify upcoming capital programs and position the organization for long-term partnership opportunities.
- Lead project teams through planning, execution, risk management, and successful project delivery.
- Allocate personnel, equipment, and operational resources to support project demands and business objectives.
- Mentor project management and field leadership teams while supporting recruitment, workforce development, and succession planning.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellence across all business activities.
Preferred Background
- Experience leading utility construction, power delivery, electrical infrastructure, or EPC operations.
- Strong understanding of substation construction, utility capital improvement programs, and electric grid infrastructure.
- Proven success managing client relationships with electric utilities and power providers.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing large project portfolios and regional business operations.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and profit and loss performance.
- Ability to build credibility with utility executives, project stakeholders, and internal leadership teams.
