Senior Analyst - Forecasting & Economic Modelling (Infrastructure)

We are supporting a leading global infrastructure investor and operator in the search for an experienced analyst to join a highly analytical, commercially focused team.

This role suits individuals who enjoy working at the intersection of data, economics, and decision‑making, and who can translate complex quantitative insights into clear, compelling narratives for senior stakeholders.

The Role

  • Build and maintain forecasting and econometric models to support long‑term planning, investment decisions, and performance analysis.
  • Analyse traffic, demand, revenue, and macroeconomic data to generate actionable insights.
  • Translate modelling outputs into clear recommendations for executive leadership and investment committees.
  • Partner closely with senior internal stakeholders across finance, strategy, and operations.
  • Contribute to scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and strategic reviews.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-8 years of experience in a quantitative, analytical role.
  • Strong background in forecasting, econometrics, or applied economic modelling.
  • Experience from the private sector preferred, including infrastructure, transport, energy, utilities, consulting, or investment environments.
  • High level of commercial awareness and comfort working with ambiguity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior decision‑makers.
  • Proficiency in modelling tools such as Excel, Python, R, or similar analytical platforms.

Why This Opportunity

  • Exposure to large‑scale, real‑world infrastructure assets and long‑term investment decisions.
  • High visibility with senior leaders and meaningful input into strategy.
  • A role that values not just technical excellence, but the ability to tell the story behind the numbers.

If you are a technically strong analyst who enjoys working with senior stakeholders and shaping strategic outcomes, this could be an excellent next step.
