Senior Project Manager - Multifamily
This client is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale residential high-rise projects for a leading mechanical contractor. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in mechanical systems, project leadership, and high-value construction environments.
You will oversee the full project lifecycle-from pre-construction through to commissioning-on projects with mechanical scopes exceeding $30 million, including 30+ storey residential towers. You'll work closely with developers, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale mechanical projects for residential high-rises.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and clients to ensure alignment on scope and deliverables.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Drive project meetings, reporting, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and support junior project managers and site teams.
- Ensure seamless integration of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical contracting, with at least 5 years in a senior project management role.
- Proven track record managing mechanical scopes of $30M+ on 30+ storey residential towers.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, construction methodologies, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera)
