Water/Wastewater Engineer - Multiple Levels

We are seeking engineers at various experience levels to contribute to the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that ensure clean and reliable water systems nationally and to local communities.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities vary by experience level:
Junior-Level:
- Assist with planning, design, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Perform data analysis, hydraulic calculations, and system modeling.
- Prepare cost estimates, technical reports, and design documents.
- Support permitting processes and alternatives analysis.
- Participate in field activities such as site visits and pilot testing.
- Provide engineering support during construction, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs.
Mid-Level / Senior Engineer:
- Serve as technical lead on small to large-scale water and wastewater projects.
- Manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Assist with business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
- Oversee construction-phase services and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license for senior roles.
- Experience in water/wastewater treatment design and construction administration.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Experience
- Junior-Level: 3-5 years in water/wastewater projects.
- Mid-Level: 5-12 years of experience.
- Senior-Level: 12+ years of experience.
