Electrical Engineer
Design electrical systems including MCCs, control panels, local panels, and junction boxes for treatment‑process environments
Develop and review single‑line diagrams, panel drawings, and P&IDs
Produce interconnection wiring diagrams across equipment and subsystems
Prepare schematics, loop sheets, layouts, and installation drawings
Create control configuration schemes tailored to project needs
Work with PLC programmers to develop control strategies for treatment processes
Define control system requirements and interfaces for programming teams
Implement and optimize VFD parameters
Configure and troubleshoot industrial control and data‑communication protocols
Develop instrument data sheets and technical specifications for electrical/I&C components
Apply relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., UL508A, NEC)
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on controls or power systems
5+ years of experience in industrial or municipal water/wastewater facilities
Hands‑on commissioning experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated capability in electrical/control system design for process‑industry applications
Proficiency with technical drawings (SLDs, panel layouts, P&IDs)
Strong understanding of UL508A and NEC requirements
Experience with VFD programming and control system implementation
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols
Proficiency in AutoCAD and standard office software
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities
