Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000

Role Overview

As a Senior Project Manager (SPM), you'll lead large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You'll be the strategic and operational anchor for your teams-ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance while delivering high-value outcomes for clients.

This is a leadership role for a hands-on builder and forward-thinking manager who thrives in complex environments and knows how to turn challenges into results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mission-critical data center projects from early planning through commissioning and close-out, ensuring precision and reliability at every stage.
  • Oversee budgets, schedules, and manpower to deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams of engineers, field staff, and junior managers across multiple job sites.
  • Drive execution planning with detailed strategies that align field operations with project milestones and client goals.
  • Foster strong relationships with hyperscale clients, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination and long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and mission-critical specifications throughout all phases of construction.
  • Identify and mitigate risks early, implementing recovery plans to maintain project integrity and momentum.
  • Manage change orders and scope adjustments with accuracy-ensuring all changes are documented, approved, and financially accounted for.
  • Deliver financial oversight through budget control, cost tracking, and variance analysis to protect margins and drive profitability.
  • Provide strategic input on operational improvements, resource allocation, and long-term project planning.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, with 3+ years managing data center or mission-critical projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven success managing large teams and complex schedules.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera, or equivalent).
