Junior Water Resources Engineer - Sandy
As a senior-level role, the Municipal PE operates independently on assigned projects under the direction of a Project Manager or Group Leader. This position may involve managing the entire design process or serving as a technical expert on specialized design tasks.
Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate project requirements, break down tasks, and collaborate with the Project Manager to define scope, budget, and timelines.
- Prepare engineering studies and schematic designs for new systems; analyze and optimize the performance of existing systems.
- Apply knowledge of relevant building codes; liaise with code officials and design professionals to address interpretations or exceptions.
- Monitor progress and promptly notify the Project Manager of scope changes or additional requirements.
- Review contractor payment applications for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of construction practices and processes..
