We are currently partnering with a well-established, high-growth building envelope specialist contractor to appoint a Lead Building Envelope Specialist across projects in Georgia and Tennessee.

The Opportunity
This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical design authority with on-site execution.
You will lead building envelope scopes across:
- New construction projects
- Existing buildings (50-60% of workload) including
- Recladding
- Remediation
- Façade performance upgrades
This is a full lifecycle role from concept design and technical coordination through to installation and final delivery on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, coordination, and delivery of building envelope systems
- Act as the technical authority across façade systems: curtain wall, cladding, glazing, waterproofing, roofing
- Solve complex building envelope and façade challenges
- Ensure buildability, compliance, and performance aligned with US codes (IBC, NFPA, etc.)
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractor teams to resolve technical issues
- Oversee site installation, driving quality, safety, and delivery standards
- Lead projects involving existing structures, including remediation and upgrades
- Drive value engineering solutions without compromising performance
- Provide leadership across teams, setting standards and driving execution

Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a senior or lead building envelope / façade role
- Strong mix of technical design expertise and site delivery experience
- Experience across new-build and existing building projects (remediation essential)
- Deep understanding of US building codes and compliance requirements
- Background within a specialist contractor, façade consultancy, or general contractor
- PE (Professional Engineer) or RA (Registered Architect) licensure strongly preferred
- Additional industry credentials / building envelope certifications highly desirable
- A problem-solver mindset, comfortable tackling complex technical challenges
- Commercial awareness with the ability to take ownership and deliver outcomes
