Senior Project Manager
We are partnering with a leading building automation organisation seeking a DDC Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale BAS/DDC projects. This is a senior-level role with responsibility for complex, multi-phase projects, strategic client relationships, and overall project performance.
The position offers the opportunity to work on high-visibility projects while mentoring teams and driving best practices across project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead large-scale, multi-phase BAS/DDC projects from initiation through final acceptance
- Oversee high-profile and strategic client accounts
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
- Drive project execution in line with company standards and delivery frameworks
Financial & Risk Management
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance tracking across multiple projects
- Monitor budgets, margins, and cost controls
- Identify and mitigate financial, contractual, and scheduling risks
- Lead recovery strategies for underperforming projects
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor and support Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
- Provide ongoing coaching, direction, and performance feedback
- Promote consistency in project delivery standards across the team
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Lead client engagements, including executive-level communication and reporting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Represent the business in client meetings, construction forums, and industry engagements
Process Improvement & Governance
- Ensure adherence to internal project management and delivery standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and company-wide processes
- Provide input into project governance, standards, and operational best practices
Candidate Profile
Experience & Expertise
- 6+ years' experience in DDC/BAS project management
- Strong understanding of building construction and related trades
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and leading project meetings
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- High attention to detail with strong multitasking capability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard project tools
Technical Knowledge (Preferred)
- Experience with Distech, Siemens, Trend, or Tridium-based systems
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required
- Ability to support physical aspects of the role, including handling materials and working in active construction environments
