Project Manager- Building Envelope
A leading building‑enclosure consulting firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Boston‑based team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex forensic investigations, restoration projects, and high‑performance building‑enclosure design work within a collaborative, technically focused environment.
Role & Responsibilities
Conduct forensic investigations involving building‑enclosure performance, distress documentation, and diagnostic field testing.
Perform condition assessments and evaluations of existing structures and enclosure systems.
Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and repair details.
Review submittals and shop drawings for technical accuracy and design compliance.
Conduct site observations of construction work in progress and prepare detailed field reports.
Develop written technical reports, project specifications, and design recommendations.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in building‑enclosure systems, investigation, detailing, or restoration.
Bachelor's degree or higher in architecture, architectural engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of thermal, air, and moisture control principles within enclosure assemblies.
Excellent technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Professional licensure is advantageous but not required.
